We are still in the midst of figuring out some traditions in our household. This Christmas we started the "Elf on the Shelf" tradition and that has been fun for the boys! They love trying to find Henry every morning!
I haven't put a whole lot of thought in to any new things we want to start in this coming year. About 6 months ago we started a tradition of taking one child per month on a one-on-one date. This week Peter will be taking Malachi out for some individualized attention. Another tradition I would like to start this year is to have Peter take off each child's birthday and make it a really fun and special day for them! We have a lot of kids close together in age and as our family will continue to grow, I want to be sure to carve out special one-on-one time to connect with each of them.
I am sure by the end of the year, there will be even more traditions we add just because as the kids continue to grow a bit older it is easier to find more things they really enjoy doing! So, watch and see!
