People, it is DONE over here and we're all shouting it from the roof tops! This is the first year I had to work hard at schooling 3 different kids, 3 different grades, 3 different curriculum's. Granted, two of those kids were in preschool programs but it was a good test and indication of what we're going to be in for as the kids continue to grow!
I just want to shout out how proud I am to have our first kindergartener "graduate". He has worked so hard this year and I have seen amazing growth in him! It has been a challenging year but he's always pushed himself and he has done amazing! I often say how glad I am to have such a smart cookie leading the way, because I sure do make a lot of mistakes in the first year of teaching a grade. He's writing well in cursive and manuscript, doing addition and subtraction, and his greatest accomplishment I think is that he is a very strong reader! It's crazy how much a kid can grow in change in their year of kindergarten. It was a big day for both of us and who knew getting a kid through kindergarten could feel like such a big deal! But we think it is! Way to go Malachi!
