Week In Review

I am linking up this week with Amy at Filled With Praise for my Week In Review:

Filled With Praise

High:

We were able to get Malachi's big boy room all painted and while at first I was a little nervous about the colors we picked, in the end I think it is going to look awesome!

Low:

This was the week of needles for my boys :( Elias had his first round of shots, but I did pretty good through those as it was nothing compared to the torture they put him through when he was in the NICU.

The one that was very hard for me was Malachi's blood draws. It broke my heart, and I made Peter take the afternoon off work to come and hold him during it. Fortunately he recovered quickly, but it was still hard to watch.

Lesson Learned:

I will make mistakes. I have had some big mommy fails this week that I am not proud of. Moments where I think I need to have it all together. Moments where the house is a mess and both boys are screaming for my attention and I get overwhelmed and lose my patience. I am slowly but surely learning that it is okay that I don't have it all together all the time.

Thanks so much for linking up this week!

I love how the room turned out. The colors look great together.

I definitely relate to your lesson learned. It is something I too have to remind myself of often.
I hope your family has a great weekend.
Blessings,
Amy

the room looks great!!! :)

I'm so sorry the boys had to get poked - so hard on them and YOU! :(

That lesson is one I am sure I will have to learn over and over and over again.

Your big boys rooms looks fantastic! Wow, very professional! SAME lessons learned for me too ... I think being aware like you are is a great first step. There will be seasons where Mommyhood will be harder than other times, and how you deal with the hard times is the lesson learned. Have a GREAT weekend!
