She's 4 Months

Miss Belle is now officially  4 months old!  My most favorite age of all and she's not disappointing at this age! 

There is just something way too sweet about being 4 months.  She's still little and snuggly but she's showing her personality too! She's got the funniest most adorable big smile that just can't help but make your heart leap a little bit when she does it!  She's captured the hearts of everyone she comes in contact with. She's definitely a little charmer. She's also super chatty and loves to "talk" to anyone who will listen.  I made her birth mom a video a few nights ago and right on command she started chatting up a storm. I guess she had a lot to tell her!  

I love this chunky little baby phase too.  She's put on a lot of weight this last month and it's far too cute. She now weighs 12 1/2 pounds (10-25%).  Our pediatrician is on maternity leave so we've had to hold off on her 4 month appointment for a few more weeks so I don't have length stats. She is in size 1 diapers and just started wearing 3-6 month clothes. The only thing big on her is her feet. She's almost ready to move up into 6-12 month size socks!

She is now drinking 6-8 ounce bottles.  And we're starting her out on some solids. She's eating rice cereal before bed and has tried banana's a few time. So far she's a fan!  She's still sleeping great at around 12 hours a night. That might change a little bit as she has outgrown her swaddle's and that might take some adjusting. She takes about 2 naps per day now.   

Oh Miss LB, you are perfect in every way!  I just want to soak up every second of this month with you.  You are a beautiful and sweet gift!  I still just sit in awe of how much our lives are blessed and enriched by you. It feels like a total dream come true!  We love you baby girl!
