It has been a CRAZY week around here and we're tired but we are IN the house and LOVING it! It is perfect!
It took a lot of work to get to this point and a lot of very very long nights! Peter was also in his busiest week at work last week and was running on 3-4 hours of sleep a night but we have made it through the worst of it. There are still some projects that are being completed but we have made good progress and can at least get the kids back on a good bedtime schedule and not have to stay up quite so late ourselves!
So, here is some of our progress over the last week!
The wall got completed! It looks amazing and like it has always been there!
The boys room got painted!
The dining room floor lost its carpet and got prepped for the new flooring!
The boys room got an amazing map!
The family room wall got drywall
and a coat of paint (which we need to change the color - boo) and wonderful new carpet on the no longer sunken family room floor!
Where Daddy and Grandpa are found working, Eli will be found! Such a little helper!
And the first piece of flooring went in!
then they were cruising!
Until they hit the kitchen and then progress slowed. And it has been a time consuming pain ever since and has caused more than one late night since! But the flooring looks amazing and I love it!
And then it was moving day! We made it :)
It has been a long 3 weeks but we are in the home of our dreams, exhausted and sleeping good at night with a lot of unpacking and a few more days of work to come! More pictures to come as we keep on keeping on!
