Sabrina's 7th Birthday

And of course we had another birthday to celebrate right on the heels of Malachi's. Our April's are always a bit crazy but this year was particularly crazy! But we were still pretty excited to celebrate the princess! As mentioned in the last post, the April babies decided to do a joint party this year.

The night of her party she was pretty darn cute and happy by bedtime so I'd say that was success!

The party was before her birthday and we got every last snuggle we could in with her on the last night of her being 6.

And then she was 7! She also requested donuts for her big day breakfast!

After Peter came home from work we took her out on a birthday dinner!

And some of her favorite fro-yo, or really just a bowl of boba because it is her favorite!

And to continue the party one step further, this girl had a very big day as she decided it was time to get her ears pierced. The piercer was so sweet as she walked her through the process and helped her pierce her favorite stuffed animals ears first.

This girl did amazing, not a tear! She was so excited to be sporting new earrings!

Oh Sabrina, if I could keep you little forever, I would! But watching you grow is also a wonderful thing and you're still as special, happy and fun now as you were as a baby! You have changed so much this year! Gone is the shy little girl and now we are left with a confident, willing to try new things, spunky girl!  You are artistic, a wonderfully smart student, goofy, fun kid to be around and we are so blessed to have you as our daughter!  You have been my ray of sunshine since the day you were born!  Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Malachi's 9th Birthday

Life has gotten away from us yet again this year, but I am hopeful that I can get caught up on all of life's happenings this last month! It's been crazy, let me tell ya!

So first and foremost, we had some big milestones around here. Starting with Mr Malachi turning 9 years old. Yep, you read that, he's that old!

He had a combined party with his sister which made it a bit easier on mom and dad during what proved to be a crazy busy month!

As we do with each kid, we went out for a fun day with him! I didn't get many pictures of our time, but it included coffee, games, chik fil a, and ice cream! Oh and donuts and apple pie at his request!

Mr Malachi,
We love you and are so amazed at the kid you are! You're smart, funny, kind! We couldn't be more proud to call you our son! We have been so blessed to get the privilege of being your parents these past 9 years. Not a day goes by that I don't think about your birth mom in some capacity and wish that she could know all about the amazing kid you are! I can't wait to see you grow and change more this next year, I can't even believe we have a child who will be in the 4th grade! It is fun to be able to sit down and have real conversations with you as you get older and want that time with us! I can't wait to watch you continue to improve at piano and develop new skills in dance! You have some serious talents but the best part is just your genuinely kind spirit. You are so gentle and kind to everyone from the tiny baby to the elderly! You're a pretty darn cool kid and we love you so very much! Happy 9th Birthday!
